What is the Basket Raffle?

The​ 3rd​​ ​Annual​ SNAP ​Basket​ ​Raffle​ ​is​ ​a​ ​fun,​ ​adults-only​ ​evening​ ​event,​ ​scheduled​ ​on Saturday, March 16th, 2019,​ ​​during​ ​which​ ​you​ ​and​ ​your​ ​friends​ ​(they​ ​don’t​ ​have​ ​to​ ​be​ Spring-Ford​ ​residents)​ ​can​ ​purchase​ ​chances​ ​to win​ ​basket(s)​ ​of​ ​your​ ​choosing.​ ​It’s​ ​not​ ​easy​ ​to​ ​decide​ ​which​ ​baskets​ ​you’d​ ​like​ ​to​ ​try​ ​to​ ​win,​ ​as​ ​there​ ​are​ ​over​ ​130 wonderful​ ​baskets​ ​to​ ​choose​ ​from,​ ​each​ ​with​ ​an​ ​approximate​ ​value​ ​of​ ​$75-$100​ ​(but​ ​some​ ​are​ ​worth​ ​much​ ​more!). Fundraising​ ​events​ ​like​ ​the​ ​basket​ ​raffle​ ​allow​s SNAP to fund and organize the Post Prom Party for the High School Juniors and Seniors.​ The Post Prom Party provides a fun and safe environment on an evening that is statistically a very dangerous one for our children. ​​The​ ​Basket​ ​Raffle​ ​is​ SNAP’s largest​ ​fundraiser​ ​and​ ​the​ ​Committee​ ​works​ ​hard​ ​each​ ​year​ ​to​ ​make​ ​it​ ​an​ ​extremely​ ​fun​ ​and​ ​worthwhile​ ​event! 

What do I need to do to attend?

You​ ​and​ ​your​ ​friends​ ​will​ ​want​ ​to​ ​reserve​ ​a​ ​table​ ​(tables​ ​are​ ​reserved​ ​for​ ​a​ ​group​ ​of​ ​6 or 8)​ ​so​ ​that​ ​you’ll​ ​be​ ​guaranteed​ ​seats together.​ ​Individual tickets may be reserved as well. Feel​ ​free​ ​to​ ​bring​ ​some​ ​snacks​ ​to​ ​share,​ ​but​ ​please​ ​leave​ ​the​ ​alcohol​ ​at​ ​home​ ​(soda​ ​and​ ​water​ ​will​ ​be​ ​available for​ ​purchase).​ ​​ ​Reserve tables and tickets online via our website or via our Reservation Form.

Can I make a donation?​

A​ ​terrific​ ​way​ ​to​ ​get​ ​extra​ ​raffle​ ​tickets​ ​is​ ​to​ ​donate​ ​a​ ​basket​ ​filled​ ​with​ ​new/unopened​ ​items​ ​from​ ​your​ ​family,​ ​basket filler​ ​items​ ​to​ ​be​ ​included​ ​in​ ​a​ ​basket,​ ​or​ ​even​ ​a​ ​monetary​ ​donation!​ ​The​ ​Basket​ ​Raffle​ ​Committee​ ​is​ ​always​ ​happy​ ​to help​ ​you​ ​if​ ​you​ ​need​ ​ideas​ ​or​ ​have​ ​questions,​ ​and​ ​will​ ​wrap​ ​your​ ​basket​ ​for​ ​you.​ ​ For each donation valued at $25, you will receive one sheet of Raffle Tickets.  All donations are due by Friday, March 1st, 2019.

What else do I need to know?

Doors open promptly at 5:00PM at Door 12 at the High School, the entrance to the Auditorium. Be mindful of the construction at the High School. A section of the parking lot is blocked off due to construction so vehicles may need to park on the opposite side of the construction. Please only park in valid parking spaces. Once you've entered the school, walk down the hallway on the right to the Cafeteria. 

We will give all participants plenty of time to peruse the baskets so you can place tickets in the prizes you’d like to win. Extra Basket Tickets, Grand Prize Tickets, and 50/50 tickets will be sold throughout the event. Cash and Credit Card will be accepted for Basket and Grand Prize Tickets. Only cash will be accepted for any 50/50 tickets. Throughout​ ​the​ ​evening,​ ​door​ ​prizes​ ​will​ ​be​ ​awarded​ ​at​ ​random.  ​ Even though individuals 18 years of age or older may participate in the raffle, all prizes containing alcohol may only be won by participants 21 years of age or older. Baskets and Prizes containing alcohol will be appropriately marked.

Once the evening has come to a close, please make sure to clean up your table and place all trash in the available trash receptacles.
